Helen's House is the name of DayStar Deliverance Ministries first outreach facility.
Located in Richardson, Texas, it is known as a home away from home to the
hundreds of people that have visited.

Nowhere else in North Texas will you find a place like Helen's House. It was named in
honor of Helen Allen, the mother of The Helen House Founder, Apostle
Minnie Ewing. Ms. Helen was known for her hospitality and her generosity. She
would welcome people off the streets and into her home to give them a hot meal,
and she never met a stranger. From, "Hello," you were treated likepart of the family.It is in that tradition that Helen's House opened its doors in October 2001 and the"family" hasn't stopped growing since. This facility has been a tremendous blessing to those who have come needing assistance.Helen's House welcomes each person with a bright smile. 

The H.H. team personally assists all guests as they "shop" through quality apparel
for men, women, children, and babies. It's not out of the ordinary to see
people leaving with brand new items. Even the items that have been gently used,
have been inspected, cleaned, and ironed to ensure that everything that is
given away is of good quality. What makes a person feel at home more than food?
Helen's House is well stocked with a variety of foods from cereal, spaghetti,
tuna helper, sugar, to the bread, fresh fruit, hot dogs, cheese, butter, and
eggs. Our guests leave with so much; they often need help getting everything out to their cars. Everything that is given away comes from contributions made by members of Helen's House, corporate sponsor, and anonymous donors. Those visiting Helen's House often hate to leave and look forward to coming back, not just because of what they receive, but how THEY were received…with open arms. They leave not only with their dignity still in tact, but feel a sense of gratitude that there are still people and organizations that give from the heart with no strings attached.
