As the Pastor of Daystar Deliverance Ministries, Minnie Hawthorne-Ewing is truly a living epistle of holiness after serving God for forty years.
Although she has faced many challenges throughout her ministry, the Amarillo-born pastor has proven victorious time and time again. Pastor Hawthorne-Ewing has sacrificially poured herself as well as her resources into God’s house. Even after losing houses and cars in order to fund the ministry God entrusted her with,Pastor Ewing has no doubt that it was well worth it to ensure that her church had a place to congregate and hear the Word of God.
The mother of seven established Daystar Deliverance Ministries in 1995 with her late husband, Apostle Robert Hawthorne. The two led and nurtured the church they founded together until the death of the Apostle in June of 2004. With a new vision for Daystar and under the direction of God, Pastor Hawthorne-Ewing undauntedly continues the work they started.
